Founded in 1959 by the late Mr. Gordon Ernest Brown, Ginger Brown has grown into a trusted name in water chiller manufacturing for over six decades. Still proudly family-owned, the company is now led by third-generation directors, Mr. Martin Steenkamp (Managing Director) and Mr. Barry Steenkamp (Director), continuing a legacy built on quality, reliability, and personal service.
All our water chillers are manufactured locally, with a strong focus on sourcing components from the South African market wherever possible. This allows us to deliver products that are reliable, readily supported, and built for our operating conditions — while supporting local industry.

Our company manufactures a standard range of small, water-cooled chillers ranging from 8ooW to 8oKW, and have designed and manufactured customised water chillers with a cooling capacity of 100KW and above.
Ginger Brown provides a 24/7 remote and onsite support services for all our equipment. Technical support is readily available as and when required. We have a dedicated service department which caters for services, maintenance, and repairs of our chiller units. We have an extensive stock holding of components which allows us to effect repairs in a timeous manner and thus minimising downtime.
